नवी दिल्ली : केंद्राच्या नव्या कृषी कायद्यांविरोधात शेतकरी दिल्लीच्या सीमेवर 38 दिवसांपासून आंदोलन करत आहेत. दिल्लीमध्ये कडाक्याची थंडी असून सुद्धा शेतकऱ्यांनी माघार घेतली नसून कृषी कायदे मागे घेण्याची मागणी कायम ठेवली आहे. त्यातच दिल्ली सीमेवर आणखी एका शेतकऱ्याने आत्महत्या केली आहे.
गाजियाबादच्या यूपी गेटवर शौचालयामध्ये आज शनिवारी शेतकऱ्याने आत्महत्या केली. आत्महत्या करणाऱ्या शेतकऱ्याचे नाव कश्मीर सिंह (वय 75) होते.दिल्ली सीमेवरच अंत्यसंस्कार करा, आसे सूसाईड नोट लिहित शेतकऱ्याने आपली शेवटची इच्छा व्यक्त केली आहे.
केंद्र सरकारने नुकतेच तीन नवे कृषी विषयक कायदे लागू केले आहेत. हे तीनही कायदे शेतकरीविरोधी असल्याचे म्हणत, सरकारने ते तत्काळ मागे घ्यावेत, या मागणीला घेऊन गेल्या 38 दिवसांपासून शेतकरी दिल्लीच्या सीमेवर आंदोलन करत आहेत. हे आंदोलन सुरू असतानाच शनिवारी एका शेतकऱ्याने आत्महत्या केल्याची घटना घडली. या शेतकऱ्याने दिल्ली सीमेवरील गाझीपूर बॉर्डरवर आंदोलन स्थळी तयार करण्यात आलेल्या एका शौचालयात फाशी घेऊन आत्महत्या केली आहे.
आत्महत्या केलेल्या शेतकऱ्याचे नाव कश्मीर सिंग, असे आहे. हा शेतकरी यूपीतील रामपूरचा रहिवासी असल्याचे सांगण्यात येत आहे. कश्मीर सिंग यांनी आत्महत्येपूर्वी एक कथित सुसाईड नोट लिहिली आहे. यात त्याने शेतकरी आंदोलनासंदर्भात एक आवाहनही केले आहे.

तत्पूर्वी गाझीपूर सीमेवर शुक्रवारी एका शेतकऱ्याची हृद्यविकाराच्या झटक्याने मृत्यू झाला होता. मोहन सिंग (57) असे या शेतकऱ्याचे नाव होते. ते बागपत जिल्ह्यातील गवानपूरमधील नांगल गावचे रहिवासी होते. यानंतर त्यांना रुग्णालयात नेण्यात आले. मात्र, तेथे डॉक्टरांनी त्यांना मृत घोषित केले.

आंदोलनाची पुढील रणनीती ठरवण्यासाठी शुक्रवारी शेतकरी संघटनांनी दिल्ली-हरयाणाला जोडणाऱ्या सिंघू सीमेवर बैठक घेतली. शेतकरी आणि सरकारमध्ये सोमवारी ( ता. 4 ) चर्चेची पुढची फेरी होणार आहे. बुधवारी 30 डिसेंबर रोजी सरकार आणि शेतकऱ्यांच्या प्रतिनिधींमध्ये बैठक पार पडली. त्यात सरकारने वीज अधिनियम सुधारणा कायदा रद्द करणे आणि दिल्ली व परिसर प्रदूषण नियंत्रण कायद्यातील दंडात्मक तरतुदी मागे घेण्याचे आश्वासन शेतकरी संघटनांना दिले. परंतु तिन्ही कृषी कायदे मागे घेणे आणि किमान हमी भावाला कायदेशीर संरक्षण देणे या मुद्द्यांवर कोणताही तोडगा निघू शकला नाही.
