देशभरात आता बर्ड फ्लूनं थैमान घातलं आहे. आतापर्यंत तीन ते चार हजार पक्ष्यांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. नव्या संकटाने पुन्हा एकदा देशाला हादरवून टाकले आहे. अनेक ठिकाणी मेलेल्या पक्ष्यांचा खच पडलेला दिसून येत आहे. यावरुन हे संकट आहे बर्ड फ्लूचे आहे, हे आता स्पष्ट होत आहे.

भारतातल्या 8 राज्यांमध्ये बर्ड फ्लूनं थैमान घातलं आहे. हिमाचल प्रदेश, केरळ, राजस्थान, हरियाणात बर्ड फ्लू पसरलाय. मध्यप्रदेश, बिहार, झारखंड, गुजरातमध्येही बर्ड फ्लूनं पक्षी मेल्याचे वृत्त आहे. हिमाचल प्रदेशात अडीच हजार पक्ष्यांचा मृत्यू झालाय. मध्य प्रदेशातल्या मंदसौरमध्ये अडीचशे कावळ्यांचा मृत्यू झालाय. इंदूरमध्ये तीन दिवसांत ५० कावळ्यांचा मृत्यू झाल्याचे वृत्त आहे.
