मुंबई : राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या जन्मानंतर राज्यात जातीपातीचे राजकारण वाढल्याचे मनसे अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरे यांनी म्हटले होते. त्याला आता स्वत: राष्ट्रवादीचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांनी उत्तर दिले आहे. राज ठाकरे यांच्यावर न बोललेलेच बरे, त्यांनी प्रबोधनकारांचे लिखाण वाचावे, असे शरद पवार यांनी म्हटले आहे. शरद पवार हे मुंबईत पत्रकार परिषदेत बोलत होते. राष्ट्रवादी अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांनी पत्रकार परिषद घेऊन केंद्र सरकारवर निशाणा साधला आहे.
केंद्र सरकारने ओबीसी समाज आणि इतर समाजाची फसगत केली आहे. केंद्र सरकारने आरक्षणामधील ५० टक्क्यांची मर्यादा शिथिल केली पाहिजे. तसेच जातिनिहाय जनगणना करुन राज्यांना इम्पेरिकल डेटा पुरवला पाहिजे अशी मागणी राष्ट्रवादी अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांनी केली आहे. राज्यांना अधिकार दिले मात्र त्या अधिकारांचा उपयोग करुन समाजाला न्याय देता येणार नाही.
केंद्र सरकारने जेवणाचे आमंत्रण दिले मात्र हात बांधले आणि जेवा म्हणून सांगितले असा खोचक टोला शरद पवार यांनी केंद्र सरकारला लगावला आहे. जातिनिहाय जनगणना करावी, इम्पेरिकल डेटा द्यावा आणि आरक्षणाची मर्यादा शिथिल करावी, अशा प्रमुख मागण्या शरद पवार यांनी केल्या आहेत. केंद्र सरकारने राज्यांना अधिकार दिली मात्र ओबीसी आणि समजाची फसगत केली आहे. यामुळे राज्यातील युवा आणि सर्व नागरिकांमध्ये याबाबत जनजागृती करणे गरजेचे आहे.

१९९२ साली ९ न्यायाधीशांच्या खंडपीठाने सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात इंद्रा सहानी विरुद्ध भारत सरकार यांच्यावर आरक्षणाबाबत महत्त्वाचा निर्णय दिला. यामध्ये आरक्षण ५० टक्क्यांच्या अधिक देता येणार नाही असा निर्णय दिला. मध्यंतरी कायद्यामध्ये दुरुस्ती केली. त्यावेळी १० टक्के त्याच्यात वाढ करण्याची भूमिक घेण्यात आली. राज्य सरकारला ओबीसींची लिस्ट तयार करुन त्यांना आरक्षणाचा निर्णय तुम्ही घेऊ शकता अशा प्रकारची भूमिका केंद्राने मांडली आणि तशी दुरुस्ती केली. पण सत्तेच्या भागाने त्याचा काही उपयोग होणार नाही याचे कारण म्हणजे या देशात अनेक राज्यात ५० टक्क्यांच्या वर आरक्षण आहे. मध्यप्रदेश ६३ टक्के, तामिळनाडू ६९ टक्के महाराष्ट्र ६४ टक्के हरियाणा ५७ टक्के राजस्थान ५४ टक्के आहे.
