सोलापूर – बँक ऑफ इंडियाच्या क्रिकेट संघाने नाणेफेक जिंकून सामना बरोबरीत आणला आणि पुढच्या सुपर ओव्हरमध्ये एमएसईबी संघाच्या खेळाडूंना एकही धाव न काढू देता तंबुत पाठवून बाजी मारली. सुर्या ग्रुपच्या वतीने आयोजित सुर्या कार्पोरेट ट्रॉफी 2021 च्या क्रिकेट सामन्याला आज (शनिवार, 11 डिसेंबर) सकाळी वल्याळ मैदानावर सुरूवात झाली.
नगरसेवक नागेश वल्याळ, सन्मित्र डेव्हलपर्सचे अनिकेत कलशेट्टी, निर्मल डेव्हलपर्सचे जयेश शहा, प्रसिध्द मधुमेह तज्ञ डॉ. भास्कर पाटील, भागवत असोसिएटसचे मनोज भागवत, प्रकाश बाबा, जयंत होलेपाटील, सुर्या ग्रुपचे संस्थापक अध्यक्ष राजकुमार सुरवसे यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत सुर्या कार्पोरेट ट्रॉफी सामन्याला प्रारंभ झाला.
पहिल्याच क्रिकेट सामन्यात बँक ऑफ इंडिया विरूध्द एमएसईबी संघामध्ये लढत झाली. नाणेफेक जिंकून बँक ऑफ इंडियाच्या संघाने गोलंदाजी स्विकारली. 8 ओव्हरमध्ये एमएसईबीच्या संघाचे 5 गडी बाद करीत 93 धावावर त्यांना रोखले. तर बँक ऑफ इंडियाच्याने आठ गडी गमावून 93 धावा करीत सामना बरोबरीत ठेवला.
त्यानंतर आयोजकांनी सुपर ओव्हर खेळवण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आणि त्यानुसार बँक ऑफ इंडियाच्या खेळाडूंनी धुव्वाधार फलंदाजी करीत नाबाद 14 धावा करीत 15 धावाचे आव्हान एमएसईबी संघासमोर ठेवले होते.

शुभारंभाच्या दिवशीच्या सामन्यासाठी पंच म्हणून महेश शिंदे आणि अक्षय साठे तसेच गुणलेखक रितेश कुलकर्णी तर समालोचक म्हणून शंकर पवार यांनी काम पाहिले. या स्पर्धा यशस्वी पार पाडण्यासाठी संजय सुरवसे, जयराम मडीवाळ, आप्पा रामदासी, स्वरूप स्वामी, ज्ञानेश्वर लिंबोळे, काशिनाथ औरसंग, विजय कोनापुरे हे विशेष परिश्रम घेत आहेत.
सुर्या कार्पोरेट ट्राफीचे यंदाचे 10 वे वर्ष आहे. तब्बल 26 संघांनी यामध्ये सहभाग नोंदवला आहे. दर शनिवार आणि रविवारी ही स्पर्धा होणार आहे. कर्णिक नगर परिसरातील माजी खासदार लिंगराज वल्याळ पटांगणावर पहिल्यांदाच ही स्पर्धा होत असल्याने परिसरातील क्रिकेट प्रेमींनी सामना पाहण्यासाठी मोठी गर्दी केली होती.
