नागपूर : शिवसेनेला फक्त निवडणूक जवळ आल्यावरच औरंगाबादच्या नामांतराचा मुद्दा आठवतो, अशी टीका विरोधी पक्षनेते देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी केली. आतादेखील महानगरपालिकेची निवडणूक जवळ येऊन ठेपल्याने शिवसेनेकडून औरंगाबादच्या नामकरणाचा प्रस्ताव तयार करण्यात आला आहे. महानगरपालिकेची निवडणूक झाली की, शिवसेनेला या मुद्द्याचा विसर पडेल, अशी टीका देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी केली.
ते काल शुक्रवारी नागपुरात प्रसारमाध्यमांशी बोलत होते. यावेळी त्यांनी औरंगाबादच्या नामांतराला विरोध करणाऱ्या काँग्रेसचा समाचार घेतला.

काँग्रेसने संभाजीनगर नावाला विरोध केला काय किंवा नाही काय, पण शिवसेना हा मुद्दा केवळ निवडणुकीपुरता वापरत आहे. या मुद्द्यावरुन शिवसेना आणि काँग्रेसमध्ये केवळ नुरा कुस्तीचा सुरु असल्याचा आरोपही फडणवीस यांनी केला.
स्मार्ट सिटीच्या कॅम्पेनिंग मध्ये संभाजीनगर नावाचा उल्लेख केल्यामुळे औरंगाबादेत पुन्हा एकदा वादाला सुरुवात झाली होती. स्मार्ट सिटी योजनेअंतर्गत शहराचं पूर्वीचं नाव असलेलं खडकी, औरंगाबादचे फलक लावण्यात आले. यामध्ये ‘आय लव्ह औरंगाबाद’, ‘लव्ह प्रतिष्ठान’, ‘लव्ह खडकी’ असे डिस्प्ले लावून सेल्फी पॉईंट तयार करण्यात आले आहेत. शिवसेना आमदार अंबादास दानवे यांच्या मातृभूमी प्रतिष्ठाने शहरातील टीव्ही सेंटर भागातील संभाजी महाराजांच्या पुतळ्याजवळ ‘सुपर संभाजीनगर’ असा डिस्प्ले तयार केला होता.
