नवी दिल्ली : महात्मा गांधी यांची आज जयंती आहे. मात्र काही जण ट्विटरवर ‘गोडसे जिंदाबाद’ असे ट्विट करत आहेत. त्यावर भाजपचे खासदार वरुण गांधी यांनी नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे. अशा प्रकारे ट्विट करणे हे देशासाठी लाजिरवाणी बाब आहे, असे वरुण यांनी म्हटले आहे. दरम्यान महात्मा गांधींची आज 152 वी जयंती असून पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदींसह अनेक दिग्गज नेत्यांनी त्यांना विनम्र अभिवादन केले आहे.
वरुण गांधी यांनी ट्वीट केले, भारत नेहमीच आध्यात्मिक महासत्ता राहिला आहे. पण महात्मा (महात्मा गांधी) यांनीच आपल्या राष्ट्राचा आध्यात्मिक आधार उंचावला आहे.
